Under
the supervision of the Fire Brigade of Paris and the Fire and Rescue
Service of the Hérault (South east of France), the 2005 Championships
will take place in the Camargue, by the Mediterranean Sea, a region
where the sun shines 300 days of the year and all the beaches are
made of thin sand.
While
many trials will take place in several locations in the Hérault department,
La Grande Motte will be the central point of the Championship.
Royal
Canin,
whose head offices are situated in the midst of vines and pastures
where bulls graze, will be the principal sponsor of the Championship,
and will host on its campus the first International Convention dedicated
to Search and Rescue Dogs.
Welcome
to Camargue….
